# How to Deposit & Withdraw GMTO in Meteon Run — 3 Steps

**Depositing and withdrawing in Meteon Run comes down to these three lines.**

1. **Money moves through three layers: exchange ⇄ Garage Wallet ⇄ game account.** Everything runs on Polygon; keep a little POL in the wallet for gas (the network fee).
2. **Deposit** = exchange → Garage Wallet → "Send to Game". **Withdraw** = "Send to Wallet" (0.5% fee, ≈ $10 minimum) → Garage Wallet → exchange.
3. **Never send on any network other than Polygon.** You could lose the funds for good.

## How Money Flows (One Picture)

1. ### Crypto exchange

   Your on- and off-ramp to regular money. GMTO / MTO trade on the overseas exchanges that have listed them (MTO on XT.com, GMTO on LBANK).
2. ### Garage Wallet (Polygon)

   A wallet created automatically when you log in to Meteon Garage. The hub for every deposit and withdrawal.
3. ### Game account

   Your GMTO balance inside the app. Running adds to it; repair costs come out of it.

## Deposit: 3 Steps (Exchange → Game Account)

1. ### Copy your Garage Wallet address

   In Meteon Garage ([market.meteornrun.io](https://market.meteornrun.io/)), open "Wallets" and tap "Copy". Never type the address by hand.
2. ### Send GMTO from the exchange on Polygon

   Add a little POL for gas; send USDT only if you plan to buy NFTs. First time: send a small test amount, confirm it arrived, then send the rest.
3. ### Send GMTO → Send to Game → amount → confirm

   Side menu "Send GMTO" → "Send to Game" → enter the amount → "Deposit to Game". GMTO only; it's credited automatically within a few minutes.

## Withdraw: 3 Steps (Game Account → Exchange)

1. ### Send GMTO → Send to Wallet → amount

   Enter an amount at or above the minimum; the fee is shown on screen before you confirm. The destination is fixed to your Primary Wallet (the Garage Wallet by default) — you can't enter an arbitrary address — and the transfer can't be cancelled once confirmed.
2. ### Wallets → Send → the exchange

   Token = GMTO, To Address = the exchange's Polygon deposit address, Amount = quantity, then "Send". Gas is normally paid in POL, so keep some in the wallet. Only exchanges that accept GMTO deposits on Polygon will work.
3. ### Sell on the exchange and cash out

   Sell the GMTO, then convert to your local currency through an exchange in your region. Gains may be taxable — check your local tax authority's guidance or a tax professional.

## 5 Things Never to Do

- **Send on any network other than Polygon.** The Garage Wallet is Polygon-only; funds sent from another chain may be lost permanently.
- **Transfer without POL for gas.** Without gas the option shows "Insufficient" and nothing goes through. Deposit a little POL first.
- **Withdraw less than the minimum.** Anything below it won't be accepted, and the daily / monthly caps still apply.
- **Type an address by hand, or send without checking it.** One wrong character and the funds are gone. Copy & paste, compare the first and last characters, and send a small test amount first.
- **Send to the old GMTO contract.** After a hack in February 2026, GMTO moved to a new contract and GMTO on the old address is invalid (new: `0x070c3e8a408BBacC61f40Ef023D30e173F268f5E`; old GMTO migrates to new GMTO 1:1 via a form — Meteon Run Hub). Make sure the GMTO you withdraw from an exchange, or import into MetaMask, is the new contract.

Which exchange should I use?

MTO has been listed on XT.com and GMTO on LBANK (availability changes). Make sure the exchange accepts GMTO deposits on Polygon; to convert to your local currency, you'll usually go through an exchange in your region.

What are the fees?

The only fee Garage shows is the 0.5% on Send to Wallet (as of August 22, 2026). On top of that you pay gas (POL) on each transfer, plus the exchange's own fees.

How long does it take?

Send to Game is credited in 2–5 minutes (per the on-screen notice). If it doesn't show up, tap "Sync from Game" or restart the app. The screen doesn't state a time for Send to Wallet.
